On A Personal Note

I know it is going to take time...

Still in shock and disbelief...

Still can't understand how so much can happen in such a short time frame...

Still processing it all...

...Watching cancer ravage my mother's body despite getting a clean bill of health from her cancer specialist in April. Watching my mother's skin jaundice from liver failure. Watching my mother take her last breath. Watching a 92-year old man weep by her casket stating that she was his last remaining friend. Knowing that now both of my parents are deceased. Feeling very lost, lonely, empty, and very depressed.

I know it is going to take time...

...and courage...

But I will get through this somehow.
