Kitteh AnticsAt the moment I have two foster cats. Those two being Grover and Gumdrop. Sweet cats overall.
Gumdrop recently got into the habit of meowing and scratching at the bathroom door while I take a bath. Well, I quickly got tired of this nonsense and figured if I let her in, she will realize seeing a tub full of water is not fun and she will not want to be in the bathroom. But no, she came in, curled up on the bathroom throw rug and went to sleep. You see, all she wanted was to be near her foster human and did not like having a closed door between us. So, the routine continued and now every time I go to take a bath, she comes right in the bathroom and curls up on the rug or in the sink to nap and be near her foster human.
Grover somehow realized he was missing out on something and wanted in on all this. So, after some scratching at the door, I let him in as well. He decided to sit on the edge of the tub and every so often take his paw and play with the soapy water.
So, now, my bathing routine involves walking into the bathroom (two felines already walking in front of me) and taking a bath with Gumdrop snoozing in the sink (or on the rug) and Grover playing with the water. Every time without fail they stick to this routine.
So much for normalcy. But then again, there is no such thing as normalcy when you share your home with cats...
