Smelling not so pretty...

Note to self: Do NOT get the 2-mercaptoenthanol on oneself.

For those not familar with the smell of 2-mercaptoethanol, it smells just like skunk. All it really takes is one rather small drop on anything to leave it smelling like a skunk has sprayed in the vicinity. To say that it is rather potent is mildly putting it.

I know that there are things that smell worse, and some of those things I have smelled and worked with. But right now, my lab coat stinks and I stink. Considering how bad my day has gone so far, this is just stinking great...
